Weekend update!

On Friday, August 14, The New Buccaneer made the 12-hour deep sea trip returning with 260 vermilion snapper, 2 amberjack, 12 African pompano, 3 lane snapper, 2 almaco jack, 5 king mackerel, 1 scamp grouper, 1 rock hind grouper, and 3 creole fish.

On Saturday, the Cavalier made two good bay trips with Captain Sam Hardeman and the New Buccaneer with Captain Matt Smith had a great 12-hour trip. The Cavalier came in with numerous sharks and the New Buccaneer brought back 435 vermilion snapper, 6 amberjack, 1 king mackerel, 16 blue runner, 1 almaco jack, 2 scamp grouper, and 1 cobia (ling).

Sunday saw bay fishing only and the New Buccaneer brought in a nice catch of sharks - and finally, some red drum showed up.
