Texas Fish Report

In regards to the East Walker River regulation changes that went into effect a couple days ago, I had a long conversation with a representative of Trout Unlimited yesterday and found out that TU is pursuing a campaign to approach the Department of Fish and Wildlife to get the regulation changes reversed. It is of course in the very early stages but they are planning on drafting a letter or letters to send to the commission on the matter and are also in the process of collecting email addresses to create an email chain with people who also want to keep the East Walker open during the winter as it has been for the last 15 or so years.
