Texas Fish Report

The best section of the West to fish is still in the canyon along Highway 395 up near the town of Walker. There are still some of those nice 3 to 5 pound fish cruising around up there in the deeper pockets. Spinners like Panther Martins and Vibrax lures have had some success as well as salmon eggs and night crawlers. Fly anglers have been having some success with prince nymphs, copper johns, hoppers, ants and madam x flies.
