Texas Fish Report

Sunday the New Buccaneer had one of the biggest catches of the summer so far. Captain Matt Smith found a new fishing spot with very nice fish on it and the 12-hour deep sea trip had a fantastic day. They returned with 184 red snapper, 11 vermilion snapper, 1 king mackerel, and 11 sharpnose shark.

Both the New Buccaneer with Captain Matt Smith and the Cavalier with Captain Sam Hardeman had great 12-hour deep sea trips on Saturday, July 4, with both boats returning with limits of red snapper.

Cavalier: 158 red snapper and 23 vermilion snapper

New Buccaneer: 188 red snapper, 103 vermillion snapper, 5 king mackerel, 1 dorado, and 9 rock hind grouper.
