The East is running at about 1010 cfs right now, the water down there is extremely high due to the large amount of run-off water that is coming off the mountain. There are nearby areas that are experiencing flooding, and the Reservoir is getting very full so they are releasing water to keep it from overflowing. We haven’t talked to anyone who has fished the river since the flow increase though there were a couple anglers who fished with some success when it was running at about 815 cfs. Nymphs were working for them at that flow and though they were of course not able to land every fish they hooked they were able to land a few nice ones. Zebra midges, hare’s ears, copper johns, flashback emergers all did well for them. Keep looking forward to the flows coming down and a great late season!!
