The West is still hanging in there with some good fish up to around 2.5 pounds being landed. Fly anglers are going with small streamers (buggers, leech patterns) and nymphs (prince, pheasant tail, hare's ear) on the bottom. Bait anglers are using salmon eggs and crawlers, spin anglers are going with panther martins and rooster tails.
